Just listened to a Dr on kdka talking about his Covid patients and what he believes should have happened a month ago with regards to isolation...and he points to the numbers of the USS Theodore Roosevelt as proof of how you never isolate healthy people
The numbers:
4860 sailors all exposed to the virus
1100 contracted virus (23%)
6 required hospitalization (.12%)
1 death :neenee:
That one death was 41 YO and the majority of the 4800+ sailors in the 20's and 30's and everyone healthy enough to be on board a Naval ship. During the early outbreak onboard there wasn't social distancing and masks or mass sterilization that came after a few hundred were infected.
More than half the sailors are back on board working with others still in isolation but ZERO deaths <40 years old and one death out of nearly 5000 healthy sailors. Yet the media only want to cover the drama of Capt Brett Crozier because the numbers don't fit the narrative they're trying to push
This was herd immunity in practice, accidentally, and it worked. Lessons should be learned but won't Shush()*
